Year 'Round Riding Program

Los Altos Hills Park and Recreation Department begins its Los Altos Hills Year Round Riding Program spring riding lessons at Westwind Barn the week of March 13. A total of six lessons are offered with a seventh lesson scheduled as a rain day. Classes are aimed at those new to horses and riding.
 
The cost is $240.00 for residents and $260.00 for non-residents.
 
There are two levels of riding lessons offered:

1) Beginning for children/adults who are new to riding and have little or no experience. Beginning youth lessons are Tuesdays March 14 to April 25 for the spring session and May 2 to June 13 for the summer session. Beginning adult lessons are Mondays March 13 to April 24 for the spring session and May 1 to June 12 for the summer session.

2) Novice for riders who are comfortable at the walk and trot and are beginning to canter. Novice youth lessons are Wednesdays March 15 to April 26 for the spring session and May 3 to June 14 for the summer session. Novice adult lessons are Mondays March 13 to April 24 for the spring session and May 1 to June 12 for the summer session.
